(I love this top so much, got it from the Laden Showroom Edy&Bridge independent brand)
Welcome to Skincare Tuesday, where it's not all about skin any more, but hair as well!
I've always loved dying my hair and I've been doing it since I was 14. I've gone trough all sorts of crazy colours and periods and naturally my hair's been trough some rough times. The good thing out of it is that I learned how to deal with a lot of hair dying and how to keep my hair healthy as much as possible.

I know I've said this before, many times, but OILS are the best thing ever. I personally use coconut oil overnight and then wash it on the next morning, or Moroccan Oil - you just put it in the hair and forget about it. I usually put most of it around the back ends of my hair, since they get more tangled than the rest. It immediately removes all tangles and makes your hair super shiny. Keep in mind that Moroccan Oil can be quite heavy though, that means if you put too much your hair may look greasy and feel heavy. I have a pump bottle and use no more than 3 pumps for my hair (chest length).

Common mistake that we've all done at some point or another is to brush your hair while it's still wet. That is the most damaging thing you can do to your hair
While your hair is wet it's most vulnerable and open to damage, when you start brushing it and untangling while it's still wet, you damage and break the hair, which results in split ends, dryness and breakage. Please avoid doing it. If you have a lot of tangles or curcly hair, wait until it's damp then use Moroccan/Argan oil in the hair and brush it with finger or a wide comb.

And there's the hair mask. How long do you keep a hair mask on your head? Most packaging says 30min and wash out. However, more than 6 hairdressers have told me otherwise. They say that there is no time limit to how long you want to keep the hair mask on. You can in fact sleep with it and wash on the next morning and the effect will be the softest hair you've ever touched on your head. I've had hairdressers even told me that there's little effect if I don't keep in on at least 2 hours. It also hydrates the hair, especially in those dry seasons.

Speaking of hair mask, here's another recommendation, at first I saw this product on Eat Your Kimchi recommended by Martina and then on CutiepieMarzia recommended by Marzia, so I decided to test it out and it was totally worth it! Silk Scarf by Etude House:

I really love this product and it smells like heaven's unicorns pooping rainbows and fluffy clouds.
The second topic of today's skincare is in fact skincare related and my worst nightmare that keeps haunting me even in my 20s - ACNE. I hate it. I really do.
The best way I've found to stay away from acne is to have a good routine with at least one product that contains tea tree oil and if you can feel a pimple is about to come out, put some tea tree oil on the spot immediately. Or Lush have this Grease Lightning gel which contains tea tree oil, thyme and rosemary.

I've found it to be very effective in the case when you can feel a pimple is about to come out or it's just recently come out and you can stop it before it becomes worse. Keep in mind this gel dries out the skin where you put it. Avoid using it in the morning or putting makeup over it - it'll only become worse and rub off and make little nasty leftovers on your face. I usually use it before bed on the spot.
When it comes to actively fighting acne the most important thing is to determine if your skin is dry or oily, because you can have acne-prone skin in both cases. I personally have dry skin, so I tend to use a lot more moisturizers, water-based makeup, no powder and moisturizing creams for dry skin. If you have oily skin you would have to use products specifically made for oily skin, because otherwise you might make it a lot worse.
A lot of people say you should pop whiteheads, but I personally am highly against it, as tempting as it is, that is the most certain way of having acne scars on your face. I used to get my pimples popped as teenager and thanks to that I had a lot of acne scars and it took me years to make them fade, not even completely faded. I still have pink dots on my cheek. Scarred forever

If you've found any really effective way to get rid of the acne, please let me know in the comments below!
That's it for today, stay tuned for Thursday, as I'm really excited to present you the Square Enix Europe tour~
To everyone out there who's at E3 right now - stay hydrated, don't forget personal hygiene still exists and enjoy the show!!!
