Gaming Thursday: Watch Dogs and the impossible specs, bracing new gen

5/30/2014

Hello everyone!

Apologies for skipping Skincare Tuesday... it's quite sad what happened, actually...
I was about to write my daily makeup routine, when I thought It would be a lot easier to make a video of it, but as most things that people assume are 'easy' - it's in fact pretty hard. I think that's one of the lessons I need to re-learn over a million times before getting it into my brain

(not to mentioned I recently got this terrible rash on my skin, because I'm so pale, my skin refused the fact that there was this yellow bright thing called sun outside for a few days and instantly decided to make me look bad and wish I could stay at home forever..)

So, dear readers, never forget - nothing is as easy as it looks! You really start appreciating people who do it when you learn more about it.

Now, more about GAMES! Are you excited about E3? I still haven't been there, by some crazy "luck" (more like curse), but I'll make sure to watch all the streams!

Watch Dogs came out this week and even though I got the game... I can't play it on my 2 years old gaming PC...

Man, the 'new gen' thing is seriously hitting me now, isn't it? It's not like I can even play it on low (not that I ever would), but I am literally incapable of even running the game. Good thing I'm upgrading next month!

I personally am still waiting on the PS4 goodness, as all the games I'm really interested in are coming out next year and xmas sale sounds like a good plan. I'll probably buy a PS4 once The Order, FFXV and KH3 are out. Those are the ones on top of my head that I'm literally dying to play. I hope they don't decide to release them all at once - that'll kill me. image

What have you been playing on next gen?

I'm still on last week's games to be honest, haven't finished Transistor and Child of Light yet and the list doesn't get any smaller.

I'm looking forward to being able to play Watch Dogs, so I can hack into people's brains and make them do dirty things for my entertainment.... oh wait, what? The game isn't about that, you say? Riiiiggghhttt.....

Since I'm not playing any new games this week, I might put a few awesome mentions of amazing games I finished recently:

Virtue's Last Reward (3DS):

This game will fuck with your brain in ways no other game ever has. I think I've developed a serious phobia of ever trusting a person with anything thanks to 999 and this game, which are meant to be related somehow, but I fail to see how, apart from the mindfuck-level and gameplay. I would HIGHLY recommend playing 999 first - that's what I did and it makes a lot more sense than the other way around. I would describe it like the Japanese version of Game of Thrones. Be prepared to play trough all the endings though - for half of the endings you need another ending open to actually be able to continue and none of the endings will have all the answers alone. I wasn't able to connect all the dots until I finished the last ending left.

South Park The Stick of Truth (PC/Uncensored):

I always wanted to play a Jew and kill zombie nazis!
I also have no idea how they let them get away with this game. This is the most disturbing, uncensored, disgustingly hilarious and epic game I've ever played. Here's my whole reaction for the game, summed up in one video:

Yeaaahh!! *bleerrgghh*

Speaking of which - if you haven't seen the Bravest Warriors on Cartoon Hangover's YouTube, you should. It's only the best thing ever made by the people responsible for Adventure Time. Which is one of the few good things left on CN. Seriously, I love these guys.

There's an iOS game from the show's most adorable character too - Cat Bug, which happens to be the name of my FFXIV character. I really find the game super hard though....

And that's all for Gaming Thursday, please come back for Caturday Health!
